John Pritchett joined "The New Breed" a band in Vero Beach, Florida at age 16 (1966). That year "The New Breed" played along side "The Detroit Wheels" at a Vero Beach night club.

Pritchett moved to Honolulu, Hawaii in 1974. He joined "Tommy D and the Delinquents" a 50s rock band in 1977. In the 80s, he formed three-piece, powerhouse bands know as "Fluid Drive" and "The Vibrators".

In the 90s, he founded and played lead guitar for "The River Street Blues Band" (an eight piece soul band). He later played solo acoustic guitar at local coffee shops in Honolulu, at the Hano Hano room atop the Sheraton Waikiki and at St. Andrews Cathedrial in downtown Honolulu.

Now, in the digital age, he enjoys recording songs using a USB interface and the Reaper recording program. He sings, plays the electric guitar, bass guitar, electronic drums, harmonica and keyboard using multi-track with overdubbing.

Most recently, John is focused on recording acoustic guitar and vocals with a single take which lends itself to live performances at small venues. You can hear these recordings at: https://www.pritchettmusic.com/acoustic.htm
